The Dedication song Crystal sang was (again due to audio quality) painful to my ears thanks to the eletronic pitch it gave her voice.
The bit with Carrion and Raven was utterly incomprehensable and to make matters worse Seamus acknowledges it was unintelligable and choose to include it anyway.
We do not have a budget for Tribeways but you can send donations to ADF and earmark it for Tribeways for better portable recording equipment and a traveling mic and postage so we can send back and forth to people.
I also challenge everyone out there to send me stuff. Again I spent a lot of time putting this together and I am so very sorry that we let you down. I guess all we can do is continue to the best we can every time out and hope we meet yours and everyones expectations.
The segment with Raven and Carrion was my fault and I can fix it in the future but we have had such a want for interviews and leadership anwsering questions that I thought that it was better to show that we are listening to the fellowship and trying to find ways to fill thier wants and needs but we are all learning this new media as we go...
Again I am sorry you didn't like it. I felt there were many good segments, but again the problem with so many remote recordings has alwasy been trying to get them cleaned up. I currently use two to three programs to try to reduce the noise. In the past I was able to make them ok enough to pass...in the case I guess I just couldn't get it cleaned up enough...
One problem is really low recordings that when turned up enough to hear also increases the noise. I would suggest people get closer to the MIC and speak just over the mic to avoid pops...go somewhere where there is not a lot of background noise or wind. If you are using a external mic do not sit it close to the computer or it will pick up electronic hum...
All we can do is keep trying to produce the best we can with what we are presented with. I welcome everyone to send me material...
thanks for being honest and giving feedback. even back reviews let us know where we are and what we need to do to get better....and most of all thanks for listening!
